Staging

Staging is essentially the core aspect of the game. It’s where the game first starts with Luka, trying to progress through increasingly higher stages before eventually ascending and starting again.

Ascending is one of the main ways to get stronger and progress through the game. When you beat stage 140 you will have the ability to ascend.

Ascend by clicking the blue triangle in the top left of your staging window.

Ascending is the best way to get stronger permanently. You will earn prisms which is another way to level up your heroes. You will have to start from the beginning but since your heroes progress while you are away you can reach a high stage quickly As the description suggests; ascending will take you back to stage 1 but will reward you with prisms enabling you progress further and faster through the stages.

Offline vs Online Staging / Hero Choice

Online staging occurs when you are online. Offline staging occurs when you shut down the game and let it run offline.
For offline staging, hero choice does not matter. Staging speed (number of stages you can complete in an hour) is determined by your offline staging speed as set by your Game Orbs.

For online staging, you want heroes with faster move speed. Stars and awakens have very little impact on staging.

It is generally best to only have 5 staging heroes – your fastest hero for each of the 5 elements this is because at each stage your stage heroes will spawn at random. If you have extra heroes who are slower, they might spawn first meaning it will take longer for you to clear the stage. Having only 5 heroes in staging also means you will have more prisms to distribute between them.

More prisms = higher stages = even more prisms!

As a new player your fastest heroes will change fairly regularly as you acquire more heroes, evolve them, etc. Unfortunately after you invest prisms in a hero you have to use a sleep potion in order to stash them and swap them for another (you can get potions as a daily gift and from ascend prize wheel). For this reason it’s uneconomical to swap them out every time you get a slightly faster hero.
